Where We Started
East Dakota Transit was established in 1988 to accommodate the needs of Valiant Living, Community Counseling, and Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership, by providing public transportation services accessible to individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income.
Where We're Going
EDT's services and ridership have evolved to support veterans and students while increasing access to recreational, shopping, medical, daycare, educational, and employment opportunities.
East Dakota Transit continues to collaborate with community members and local entities to identify transportation needs and meet them with innovative solutions for the betterment of the community.
